Michael Paukner used some scans of old astronomy maps from the 17th century.

sic itur ad astra = latin for "thus you shall go to the stars"

He has a wonderful stream of his graphics on Flickr including some designed from crop circles.

Findhorn

I remember reading "The Magic of Findhorn" back in the mid-seventies. Nice to read about it again here.

Creative Genius

I am very grateful for the internet and the abundance of connections that can be made. I really enjoyed the book Eat Love Pray by Elizabeth Gilbert which I read last year.

Today I went to the website for the 2009 TED conference and one of the speakers was Elizabeth Gilbert with an excellent talk about:
A different way to think about creative genius

Waiting for Bilbo

Are you standing in line to be the first person in the world to see "The Hobbit?" If you want to connect with a very funny cartoonist with a SF/Fantasy Fan point of view, check out Waiting for Bilbo.

I'm forever grateful I lived long enough to see Lord of the Rings turned into Peter Jackson's trilogy. Along the way, I kept company with Debbie Ridpath Ohi through her strip Waiting for Frodo.

If you're a writer, check out Debbie's blog Inky Girl.
